Preparing Your TNAs for Success
With the current Ohio pass rate of TNAs being only 40%, OHCA has teamed up with nurse aid training expert Leah Klusch to offer a one-day program focused exclusively on helping skilled nursing facilities in Ohio prepare their TNAs for successful passage of the STNA certification exam. This 5-hour program will provide valuable knowledge and tools to help the TNA preparers in your organization instill the essential skills and procedures within your candidates. The program will cover the testing process and focused preparation of what is needed for both the knowledge test and skills tests with a key emphasis on the vocabulary and complex stills that often trip up the candidates.

Leah Klusch, RN, BSN, FACHCA is the Executive Director of The Alliance Training Center, an educational foundation focused on geriatric care issues and the author of numerous published articles in industry journals, periodicals, trade publications, books, and lectures nationally on current industry topics. Leah?s insights are captured and read throughout the industry, online as well as offline. Leah received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Capital University and continued graduate studies in Curriculum and Education at Ohio State University. In 2009, she completed the Fellowship program with the American College of Healthcare Administrators.
