July 12 - Pre-Conference Bonus Session

1:00 pm - Check In

1:30 pm - 4:45 pm - Marketing Your Community (better than the others)
Presented by Lou Ann Brubaker

Driving a consistent stream of admissions and move-ins
is far from what it used to be, as much due to Covid-19 as increasing competition.

There are strategies, though, that can be easily implemented and very few require additional dollars.
It starts with a focus on key metrics and the ability to predict an upcoming drop in move-ins and a pro-active response. The community must create a better compelling argument for decision makers that you're the right place to refer/choose. How providers should engage with other health care organizations has changed as well.

Taught in an engaging, straightforward, non-theoretical approach, attendees will be able to enhance their existing processes and identify opportunities that can drive their success.

Following this program, participants will be able to:
* Differentiate between what once were competitive advantages and what are now valuable in today's skilled and assisted living;
* Explain why admissions or move-ins aren't what you should be focusing upon
* Calculate the 3 benchmarks required in monitoring for probably occupancy or move-in success or concern;
* Assess if current online strategies really make your presence known;
* Address internal barriers to referral/selection;
* Describe what things always needs to included in the sales message;
* Strengthen acute care (or SNF) relationships;
* Expand the 'marketing' team to include others within your community (and how to select and train them);
* Leverage the most valuable & least-used positive quality measures in your community

4:45 - 5:45 pm Cocktails & Conversation

Join OHCA & Linda Saunders for a guided networking session which will allow attendees to network with their peers while sharing thoughts and concerns regarding various industry initiatives. In addition, you will be treated to appetizers and drinks while you enjoy this interactive session.
