Tim Cahill is Partner Of Counsel in the Healthcare Group at Dinsmore & Shohl. He has more than two decades of experience in health care-related fields. He has worked as in-house counsel and external counsel for non-profit and commercial health care organizations, health systems, hospitals, physicians and physician groups, and various post-acute care providers. Prior to joining Dinsmore, Tim served as the General Counsel of Adena Health System for close to five years and as Associate General Counsel at Nationwide Children?s Hospital for seven years. Before going to law school, Mr. Cahill was a physical therapist for four years. Currently, Tim is the President of the Society of Ohio Healthcare Attorneys.

Sydney Pahren focuses her practice on health care law, including transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters. She counsels clients on a range of topics including fraud and abuse issues; federal and state anti-kickback statutes and Stark; data, technology, and privacy matters, such as telemedicine and HIPAA; and administrative appeals before government agencies. Sydney has experience preparing employment agreements, challenging Medicaid overpayment audits, and negotiating and preparing transaction documents. She devotes the majority of her practice on regulations for nursing homes, home health agencies, and other health care organizations.
