This webinar is a high level overview of employer responsibilities for OSHA recordkeeping. We will discuss how to determine if a case is recordable on the OSHA 300 log, completion and maintenance of the log, summary posting responsibilities and injury reporting requirements.

Objectives:
-Learn what makes a case OSHA recordable
-Learn how to complete the OSHA log and summary and associated timeframes
-Learn what makes an injury OSHA reportable

Kacy Beauman, Project Manager, CompManagement, Inc.

Kacy has been in the workers' compensation field since 2001. Over the past eighteen years, she has managed claims, represented employers at hearings at various Ohio Industrial Commission offices and managed workers' compensation programs for Ohio employers. She has also written training materials and conducted departmental and external client training. In her current role as a project manager, Kacy oversees the internal claims training program and manages multiple projects through completion, communicates results, makes recommendations to management and provides internal and external training. She is a member of the Ohio Public Schools Committee for the Ohio Safety Congress, has her certification in Workplace-Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT), is a 2016-2017 STAR leadership program graduate and is currently pursuing her Associates in Risk Management designation.
CEs & Other Education Requirements:

This program is approved for one (1) hour of credit for nursing home administrators, nurses, CEAL and CEHCH.
How much does it cost?

Facilities will pay one low fee for an unlimited number of participants. However, the number and access code is valid only for one phone line/computer at the location registered with the Association. Any additional phone connections calling in will be billed the individual session registration fee.

$75 (11/27/19 and after)

Non-Members:
$130 (prior to 11/27/19
$175 (11/27/19 and after)
