Examination Eligibility
Those wishing to take the Wound Care Certified (WCC) or Nutrition Wound Care Certified (NWCC) board certification exam must take the NAWCO? approved training course plus hold an active unrestricted license in one of the following professions:
* LPN / LVN, RN, NP, PA, OTA, OT, PT, PTA, MD, DO, DPM ?2 years full-time or 4 years part-time where wound care was a component of the job duties in the past 5 years * RD / RDN - practiced 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time.
