John Lanning, Senior Risk Analyst, CompManagement Inc. John joined CMI in 2002 bringing with him more than 15 years of OSHA compliance and workers’ compensation experience to the organization. John’s professional development has focused on safety programs in the manufacturing, health care and construction industries where he develops and implements strategies to control the frequency and severity of workplace accidents which results in positive premium impacts on both group rated and penalty rated employers. John is also authorized to conduct OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour
general industry training.

How it will work:

One week prior to the webinar, you will receive an email with the toll-free number and access code for your contact person at the facility to enter the webinar, as well as any handout materials and continuing education request forms. The number and access code are only valid for one connection (phone line & computer). Any additional connections will be billed the webinar registration fee.

Continuing Education Credits:

The programs is approved for one (1.0) hour of credit for nursing home administrators and nurses. Individual attendance will be monitored throughout the call. Only those attending the entire call will be awarded continuing education credit. Upon receipt of your request for continuing education form, certificates will be mailed to the facility.

How much does it cost?

Association member facilities will pay just $75 for an unlimited number of participants. The number and access code is valid only for one phone line/computer at the location registered with the Association. Any additional telephone #’s/computers calling in will be billed for the registration fee.

Have a conflict the day or time of the call or just want other shifts to be able to hear the program? This program is being recorded and a cd-rom along with the handouts is available for purchase. CEUs are not available for listening to the CD.

It is imperative that an email address is provided as this is where call in code and handout materials will be sent.

Registration Fees:

Members before 2/22/10 $75
2/22/10 and after $100

Non members before 2/22/10 $130
2/22/10 and after $175

Cancellations/Refunds: Cancellations received more than 14 business days prior to program will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 7 – 13 business days prior to the program will receive a refund of 75% of the registration fee, cancellations received 4 – 6 business days prior to the program will receive a refund of 50% of registration fee. Cancellations after this time/date will be charged the full registration fee. No exceptions shall be granted.

All cancellations must be made in writing and may be emailed to kchapman@ohca.org or FAXed to the OHCA office at 614/436-0939 to Kathy Chapman, Director of Educational Services. Refunds will be issued via check to the company from the OHCA office after the program dates, regardless of original payment type. - Revised 2/07
