Risks & Threats: Nursing Facility Survey with the MDS 3.0
September 23, 2010
Webinar
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
CEUs for Administrators, Nurses

Description:

Nursing facilities are receiving more scrutiny than ever by surveyors. They are citing more deficiencies with greater scope and severity, all which carry greater penalties. With the implementation of MDS 3.0, along with the QIS expansion throughout Ohio, surveyors will have additional tools such as the BIMS, PHQ-9, and the Care Area Assessments. This will allow surveyors to more closely examine clinical documentation, plans of care, and the appropriateness of interventions, to determine your facility’s compliance. This webinar will look at the MDS 3.0 and identify the impact on providers and the key survey and compliance risks.
